Virtual Networking Lounges and Engagement Activities at #ISC2Congress
One of the biggest draws to (ISC)² Security Congress is networking and engaging with other experts in the cybersecurity industry. Despite the lack of gathering together in-person, #ISC2Congress 2020 will not be lacking in the opportunities for connecting with others, learning best practices and providing career enhancement in five networking lounges throughout the conference. With more than 4,500 attendees registered, there is something for everyone at all career levels.
Each of the five topic-specific lounges will allow attendees to participate in a discussion forum, access resources, view presentations, ask questions and even earn CPEs for attending.
Attendees and Members Lounge
While it is everyone’s first virtual (ISC)² Security Congress, if this is your first year as a member of (ISC)² or your first time ever attending Security Congress, be sure to visit this special lounge. Here, you’ll learn how to make the most of your first Security Congress and discover the benefits of (ISC)² membership. Discuss (ISC)² membership with other attendees in this lounge ! Chapters and Volunteers
Security Congress is live for a few days; however, after it is over, you’ll want to be able to connect with others in your local community all year long. Learn about the opportunities to connect and give back in a variety of volunteer roles. (ISC)² Chapters have been meeting and networking globally for years and we’ve recently launched virtual (ISC)² Chapter Groups. Don’t miss out on these networking and engagement opportunities. Diversity
Diversity is a very important issue for the cybersecurity profession. It is vital that we ensure cybersecurity is a rewarding career for everyone globally. Visit this lounge to discuss diversity topics and issues with other attendees on how to improve diversity within your organization.

Interested in preparing for your next certification? Or maybe you’re interested in continuing your education virtually with (ISC)² Professional Development Institute (PDI) courses? Chat with other attendees on topics like course options available for free for (ISC)² members and becoming a subject matter expert for course development in the (ISC)² Education lounge . Have further questions? Our Education Team will be readily available in the (ISC)² booth in the Virtual Expo Hall to answer any questions you may have.
Center for Cyber Safety and Education
Giving back to the community is an important part of the (ISC)² membership base. The Center for Cyber Safety and Education has many resources and various programs to help you make a positive impact on your local and professional community. Connect with others who have volunteered before and our Center team, in this lounge , to help set you up for success.

Career Center
Whether you are new to the cybersecurity industry or a seasoned professional, the Career Center at (ISC)² Congress provides an opportunity for attendees to schedule a free career coaching and resume review session. Connect with others and schedule your coaching session with HR professionals in the career center .
Bookstore
Each year, the (ISC)² bookstore provides attendees an opportunity to purchase official (ISC)² certification course books, study guides and industry-relevant books at a discounted rate. Books authored by our keynote speakers will also be available at a discount. The bookstore is only open for a limited time, so take advantage of this opportunity while you can.
Expo Hall
The Expo Hall allows top security vendors the opportunity to showcase their latest technologies with attendees. You can register for one-on-one meetings with exhibitors during the Expo Hall hours: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET on November 16 and 17 and 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET on November 18. Attendees who visit each booth have the opportunity to win prizes during our Passport to Prizes game. Watch your email for details on how to win!
