HOW CAN YOU WIN BIG IN VEGAS? – Global Achievement Awards Nominations Open Now

EVENTS-GAA-2022-Nominations-Open-1024x512 Nominations are now open for the 2022 (ISC)² Global Achievement Awards . These annual cybersecurity awards celebrate professionals whose excellence, leadership and efforts have significantly advanced the cybersecurity industry and contributed to the vision of inspiring a safe and secure cyber world. Nominations are open now through May 13 and recipients will be acknowledged at the 12th Annual (ISC)² Security Congress in Las Vegas and online October 10-12. 

Open to All The following categories are open for all to nominate and those meeting the eligibility requirements to receive. Self-nomination is not permitted.

(ISC)² Rising Star Professional Award – Recognizes the accomplishments of an up and coming professional who has made a significant impact early in their career.

(ISC)² Mid-Career Professional Award – Recognizes an individual who has demonstrated commitment and achievement in managing or implementing a vital component of a cyber, information, software, infrastructure program/project.

(ISC)² Senior Professional Award – Recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed to the enhancement of the information security workforce by demonstrating a leadership role in an information security workforce improvement initiative, program or project.

(ISC)² Government Professional Award – Recognizes government (federal, state or local) information security leaders who have helped improve government information security and advance an in-demand workforce.

(ISC)² F. Lynn McNulty Tribute Award – Recognizes an individual for their outstanding dedication, service and commitment in government information security workforce and/or strengthening the security posture of the country’s information resources and infrastructure.

 

Members Nomination Categories (ISC)² members and select committees can nominate in the following categories. Please see full descriptions for eligibility details and more.

(ISC)² Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award – Recognizes a member for his or her lifelong contributions to the advancement of information security and the profession by serving with sustained excellence and distinction throughout their entire career.

(ISC)² James R. Wade Service Award – Recognizes the involvement of volunteers who merit special distinction for their sustained and valuable service to (ISC)².

(ISC)² Diversity Award – Recognizes an individual who represents the core values of (ISC)² through significant contributions to driving a more diverse workforce in the cybersecurity community.

Fellow of (ISC)² – Recognizes individuals who have provided exemplary service and made extraordinary contributions to the information security profession and excellence in the field of information security.

 

(ISC)² Chapter Recognition

The (ISC)² Chapter Recognition Awards are presented to official chapters of (ISC)² within a specific region that best promotes the vision of (ISC)² by inspiring a safe and secure cyber world. The chapter must demonstrate a well-rounded offering of activities and services designed to benefit its members and affiliates, while making a significant contribution to the profession and local community through the core focus areas of the (ISC)² Chapter Program of Connect, Educate, Inspire and Secure. Regions include Asia-Pacific, EMEA, Latin America and North America.

 

Center for Cyber Safety and Education Awards

Julie Peeler Franz “Do It For The Children” Volunteer Award – Recognizes an individual with passion for cyber safety education and a desire to give back to their community, this recipient is considered an educator and mentor to their community ensuring a safe and secure online environment.

Partner of the Year Award – Recognizes a company or organization where they and/or their employees/members donate their time, talent and treasure, to support and advance the Center’s programs to deliver vital cyber safety programs and/or scholarships to inspiring a safe and secure cyber world.
