ISC(2) National Capital Region Scholarships

We are pleased to introduce two new opportunities for members in good standing to receive tuition assistance or ISC² exam registration fee assistance. We look forward to you taking advantage of these opportunities as outlined below. Submission instructions can be found in the online application.

For Tuition Assistance applicants must submit the following documents:

• A complete Application Form (see link below)
• A well-written, one-page (double-spaced) ESSAY, in Section 3 of the application form, clearly articulating
• “WHY YOUR APPLICATION SHOUD BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.”
• A current resume or curriculum vitae (CV).
• Copy of recent university transcripts with a 2.5 minimum GPA (official transcript
• may be required before acceptance)
• One letter of reference from a professional who can evaluate applicant’s aptitude
• towards cybersecurity concepts. (Written on letterhead).

For ISC2 Exam Registration Fees Assistance, applicants must submit the following documents:

• Completed Application Form (see link below)
• A Short statement, in Section 3 on the application form, on how obtaining your ISC² certification will enhance your future and your support of the national capital region cyber needs.
• A current resume or curriculum vitae (CV).
• Copy of your bill/statement for registration/payment for the ISC² exam you will take- exam date must be within 60 days. Scholarship is not retroactive.

Note:

• Recipient will receive ½ of the exam fee up front. Upon proof of passing the exam, the recipient will receive the other ½ of the exam fee.
